The two operative phrases that have governed life since college have been "Leader of self and others" and "I hate traffic!" I demand movement and growth in life and my pursuits lead me to bring movement and growth in the lives of others.
Crucial to my development as a successful branding professional was my enrollment in the PSI Seminars, a series of seminars that empower people to change their lives, my involvement with Toastmasters International, and my sales training with Sandler Sales Institute.
Attending the PSI Seminars helped me hone my leadership skills, understand the importance of goal setting, expand my capacity for success, and develop real integrity. Joining Toastmasters International further developed my capacity to lead by sharpening my communication skills, allowing me to communicate more effectively, build better relationships and manage people and projects more efficiently. Finally, training with Sandler helped me develop the motivation and people skills needed to consistently meet and exceed client goals.
The past years have seen me increase my time in the employment, career, job and career coaching while attempting to infuse all these facets with my online personal branding knowledge. I have published many articles and they can be seen here:
My mom and dad always have believed in me and without their support, I do not think I would have achieved the success that I enjoy today. As an adolescent, they guided me through Boy Scouts, where I achieved the Eagle Scout award. That distinction is bestowed on less than 1% of boy scouts. They navigated me through my years at Loyola High School in Los Angeles. Furthermore, they supported my efforts at UCLA, where I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science.
I am very grateful for my family, all of whom have left an indelible mark on me. My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic and the drive to contribute, and my four brothers helped me develop a competitive and independent spirit. With their love and support behind me, I strive always to make them proud. |
