I’m not much of a regular follower of hockey, but these videos remind me of how manly a sport it is. I really don’t have enough space in my day, or in my brain, to follow a fourth sport [after basketball, football and baseball], but I have to say that playoff hockey is pretty awesome… just not as awesome as these videos.
If you like convulsing players, explosions, 80’s music, more explosions, and wild hockey fights, then these videos will hit the spot.
What did humans do to warrant a rampaging space bear that plays hockey? I don’t know, but the path of destruction should make him pretty easy to find. The first videos are the submissions from the Anchorage Nanooks promotional team.
But what would hockey be without fighting… and cheap shots? This first one should be watched after acknowledging that you can handle scary medical situations… while the second one shows why hockey fights are the main attraction for most spectators at the game [standing ovation for a game cut short by lack of players? Yup, if there is an eight-minute brawl, then it is OK.]
This last one is included for the all the ‘hockey-haters’ – because they probably think that all hockey players are Russian, and of course, all Russians [apparently] are gay.
